British label Burberry expands its collection of masculine fragrances with a new eau de toilette, named Mr. Burberry. The new scent, which will be launched next April, has been inspired by traditional British perfumery, and revisits the allure of a classic masculine fragrance with a modern and revamped twist.
Created by perfumer Francis Kurkdijan, Mr. Burberry unveils a composition that starts with zesty and fresh accords of grapefruit, tarragon and cardamom, mingled with aromatic harmonies of cedar, nutmeg and birch leaves. The fragrance ends its structure with elegant notes of vetiver, sandalwood and guaiac wood, that add a timeless and masculine allure at the whole composition.
Shot by Oscar winning British director Steve McQueen, the campaign is his first commercial film and marks the first time Burberry and the acclaimed director have worked together. Set in London, the film features British actor Josh Whitehouse and British model and actress Amber Anderson.
